Becoming a Trained DBT Supervisor™
About the Course
This 5-day training in supervision in DBT is divided into three parts.
The first two days of training, titled “Team Supervision Fidelity to the Model“, will focus on helping learners assist teams in implementing DBT with fidelity to the model, emphasising its functions and modes.
The next two days, under the title “Adherence – Individual Supervision“, will teach participants the principles of supervising individual DBT practitioners. This section will focus on training supervisors to guide their supervisees in adhering to the DBT model.
On the final day of training, titled “Supervising in DBT“, participants will learn how to address challenges that arise in supervision. This day will include a combination of instructional content and problem-solving discussions based on the issues learners have encountered in their supervisory experiences to date.
